We are intrigued to announce our first official AFGA jerseys which will be presented by our Co-Founder Fiete Kaupp when coming for a 5-week visit from January to February. Watch out for the official presentation video. His visit is also the official start of our club house building process which we hope to finish before the end of 2022. The total building costs is estimated to be around 20 000 Euro. We first want to start off with two big rooms to move our players from the current rented house to our own facility. Later this year, we aim to finish the remaining rooms.

We are highly in need of donations to complete our club house. It will allow us to move our boys to a much safer place and have a basement as an organization. Finishing first in our district we have qualified to represent our district Greater Accra on the national level and being a part of the KGL U-17 Inter Club Champions League. However, we are still playing under our predecessor club’s name Mal FC which will be renamed to African Giants Football Academy for the next juvenile season.

We have partnered with different platforms and companies. Those include SocaLoca, Revolve Sport and Together We Move.

Socaloca: “SocaLoca is the home for football academies of any scale, age category, playing level, or location. SocaLoca provides an innovative and intuitive platform designed around the modern needs of a football academy” (SocaLoca, 2021). The SocaLoca Academy Console is a web-based system which helps us manage our academy and academy players in terms of biodata and tracking development.

Revolve Sport: “Revolve Sport is a distinctive sports consultancy focused on addressing inequality in society through the medium of sport” (Revolve Sport, 2021). Revolve Sport support us in terms of offering expertise to our project, specifically in planning and strategizing.

Together We Move – Entwicklungspolitische Sportprojekte: Together We Move aims to support sport for development projects all around the world. Sport is seen as a specific tool to educate and communicating values. The organization is based in Germanya and has been co-founded by our co-founder Fiete Kaupp. African Giants is one of the first two partner projects.

African Giants Football Academy has been recruiting volunteers in September for the first time. These include Prince Henry (Graphic Design), as well as Gilbert Tackie and Jeffrey Addae (both Digital Marketing). We highly welcome all to the AGFA family. Please take a look at specifically Instagram and our introduction video to see the great impact they are already having on our organization.

We went online with our new website in July. Since then, we have continuously improved it and made it more interactive for our audience. You can now find the latest news, as well as more information and updates on our social media platforms via the buttons on our website.

We are currently in the process of building an accommodation for players coming from far to join our academy. Therefore, we are looking for private donations, sponsors and investors who have interest in becoming a part of us. Feel free to contact us at any time!
